AMG DIRTY DOZEN 6/14/18: The Sex And Shaws And Rock & Roll Special Edition
The experience cult-cineaste might notice a few themes running through this edition of the AMG Dirty Dozen. For example, there is a documentary about a famous adult film and a collection of interviews with people involved in another famous adult film. There's also plenty of rock and roll: two rock musicals, one documentary and a vintage concert video. Even better there are no less than four Shaw Brothers movies: one revolves around kung fu but there's also a docudrama, a Triad-themed mob flick and a ripoff of Coffy!A famous true crime film and a weird Mexican movie about a 70's paranormal phenomenon round things out.
